Lily here, hi! The Hestian Lily blog was started to help newcomers and even some elders who are feeling a bit lost about the tomes and tomes worth of information on the net about paganism and witchcraft. I have been studying for about five or six years and I admit to hardly knowing it all. However, for the virtue of seeking sophia (wisdom) I continue to search and learn and discuss. If I am confused, I go to someone older who I think can help me out.

I am a devotee of Hestia, the Greek goddess of hearth and home, and also a witch, but never a Wiccan. I also realize there can be a big problem trying to find non-Wicca based knowledge of paganism and witchcraft. If you have anything you’d like to see anything in particular covered, be sure to tell me so I can help. 🙂

<3, Lily.

  1. Wonderful blog! And it’s nice to meet a fellow devotee of Hestia! I just started blogging a couple days ago myself, and one of my first posts was dedicated to Hestia.

    • Hee. :3 I just read it after I approved the comment. I will be on the lookout for part 2, because I’m very interested in your practices for honoring Hestia in ritual. Never thought to link Emily Dickinson to Hestia, kind of neat~ *stalks*
